FALLS CITY, OREGON
THE QUEEN CITY of Polk County is situated in the western part of the famous Willamette Valley and about midway its length, north and south, Polk County, being one of the central counties of the valley. It enjoys remarkably even climatic conditions and its soil constituents are such as to make it one of the best known fruit and farming districts in the state. The county, lying on the west side of the Willamette River and extending up into the Coast Range of mountains, is well watered naturally, needing no irrigation, its fruits therefore containing a richness of flavor and firmness of texture otherwise impossible.

The demand for fruits of all kinds is increasing much more rapidly than production. People are just beginning to learn of the high medicinal value of fruit as a liberal part of their daily food supply. It is today a widely accepted fact that "you decrease youW doctor's bill whenever you increase your fruit bill," and this movement for the greater use of fruit is but just begun. Will you come to Falls City, plant some fruits and by thus helping supply the rapidly growing demand greatly benefit both yourself and those dependent upon you?
