        WATER SITUATION
The water board met Tuesday night and issued orders restricting the use of water for irrigation during the present dry season. There is some leakage, and much unnecessary waste of water by some of the users and it was deemed necessary for fire protection to make these restrictions. If Judiciously used the water supply is ample for all needful domestic use as well as irrigation, but many turn the water on full force and let it run day and night which is a sinful waste of water. The water board are not sticklers but such unnecessary waste of water must be stopped and if it is not they will be compelled to put in metres and then when the metres are read these extravagant users of water will certainly "go up in the air."

From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays is the time specified by the water board as the time for irrigation.
