Juanita LaVerne Holman was born in Falls City Sept. 3, 1908, but the greater part of her short life was spent in Black Rock. The little one has never been well but she bore her sufferings most patiently. Nita was loved by everyone, and with her sweet, winning manner her friends were without number and her fairy face will be sadly missed by us all. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. LaDow at the M. E. church, Wednesday, April 19th, at 2 p.m., and music was furnished by the choir of that church. Many beautiful flowers were contributed.
Her suffering all are o'er; Home, sweetly there on Jesus' breast Where pain can harm no more. A flower indeed was she, too fair To grow on earthly ground; 'Twas Jesus plucked her from our care To place her in His crown. Our hearts with anguish sorely bleed Since darling Nita's gone; In prayer submissive still we plead, Thy will, not ours, be done! We wish to express our sincere appreciation of the great kindness, sympathy and courtesy extended to us during the illness and burial of our Little Nita, and also to all for the many beautiful flowers contributed.
