        MADE GOOD
The Christian Bulletin of Dallas has the following to say of B. L. Hicks, Pastor of the Christian church of this city who preached for Evangelist Van Winkle who was called away:

"Our dissapointment in the loss of Brother Van Winkle was greatly relieved by the presence of Brother Hicks, pastor of our work at Falls City, who kindly consented to attemp that most difficult task of carrying on the work of another popular man.

We want to say for Brother Hicks that he is a man of large ability and experience and rose to the situation, by no means lowering the standard set by our evangelist, Brother Van Winkle. We were all glad to extend our acquaintance with Brother Hicks and to hear his two strong sermons. We want to thank him for his kind and helpful service and congratulate the Falls City church in having so strong a man to stand in their pulpit and lead them in their work. We are hearing good reports from that field and are predicting greater things to come."
