Jones of Santa Clara, Oregon, Vice President and field worker of the State Christian Woman's Board of Missions spent last Monday with the Falls City Auxiliary. She held an afternoon conference with the members in the basement of the church, at which were present a large number of visitors. She also addressed a goodly audience in the evening. The afternoon with her was most profitable. The evening address was ernest, direct and convincing; the effectiveness of both was greatly enhanced by the sweet and womanly personality of the speaker. Through her influence several converts to the work of foreign missions were made. In honor of Sister Jones and for our mutual pleasure about fourty people participated in the joys of a basket chicken dinner in the basement of the church Monday noon. CHRISTIAN CHURCH
