 FALLS CITY has always been intensely interested in sports. And sports, in any small town is closely tied to the school. Below is Falls City high school, a vine-covered stucco type building. The school receives strong support from area residents. Above is the 1965 Mountaineer football team. The school's athletes play six man football. Also featured is a strong basketball program. The Falls City teams have been a threat in the Marion B minor league for a number of years--consistently placing first or second.  |
