Our Purpose:
The purpose of Grace Family Fellowship is to love people where they are
and help them become wholehearted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Core Values:
- The Bible is our authority ~ We value the clear teaching of
God's Word as we seek to know the truth and obey it. The authority of God's Word overrides that
of our opinions, experiences, feelings, and traditions,
(James 1:22; Romans 10:17; Colossians
3:16; II Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 7:24-25).
- Prayer is essential ~ We believe prayer must saturate every
facet of our lives. Both personally and corporately we must continually approach God's
throne to find wisdom, power, and help for every need,
(Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 18:1; Ephesians
6:18; Philippians 4:6; I Thessalonians 5:17-18; Hebrews 4:16).
- Every member is a misister ~ We value each member as a vital
part of our ministry. We desire that all the gifts God has given to us be used to serve and
build up the body,
(Romans 12:4-8; I Corinthians 12:4-27; Ephesians 4:4-16; I Peter 4:10).
- Lost people matter to God ~ We desire to have the same heart
of compassion and concern for the lost as God does. We are devoted to sharing the light of the
gospel in a dark world,
(Matthew 4:19; John 3:17-17; II Corinthians 5:20; II Peter 3:9).
- Love binds us together ~ We desire love to be our mark, so
that the world may know we belong to Christ. We will pray for one and another, encourage one and
another, forgive each other, correct each other, and hold one another accountable because we
truly love each other,
(John 13:34-35; 15:12; Colossians 3:13-14).
- Unity attracts God's blessing ~ We believe unity within our
local church fellowship and in the greater body of Christ is neccessary for us to receive God's
blessing and fulfill our mission,
(Psalm 133; John 10:16; I Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians
4:3-6).
- Wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ and His cause is normal ~
We believe that to wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ as Lord ought to be the normal lifestyle
for every child of God,
(Matthew 6:24; 22:37-38; I John 2:5-6).
- Come as you are ~ We desire nothing to hinder people from
coming to know Jesus. We tend to dress and conduct our services informally so anyone from our
community would feel welcome to attend and hear the life-changing message of the gospel,
(Matthew 11:28; 22:9-10; II Peter 3:9).
