Section 78.
Falls City shall not be liable to any one for any loss or injury to person or property growing out of any casualty happening to such person or property caused by any defect or dangerous place at or in any sidewalk, crosswalk, street, alley, lane, bridge, public ground, public building, ditch, drain, or sewer, unless the said city of Falls City shall have had actual notice of such defect or dangerous place, before the happening of such accident or injury; and a reasonable time thereafter to repair or remove such defect or dangerous place; and in no case shall more than the sum of $100 be recovered as damages from said city for such accident or injury.
